A 750000 gallon tank collapsed in downtown Tucumcari New Mexico injuring several and killing a 13 year old boy named Gallegos. The event flooded the business district at about 4 am with 3 million gallons of water, damaging adobe homes and leaving the city without water and lights in parts. The sheriff indicated more bodies might be recovered as rescue crews from the national guard and highway department worked the scene.
