Beaut y Salon Week Plans Set by Monroe Cosmetologists
The Monroe Unit of the Louisiana Association of Accredited Cosmetologists met for December and organized National Beauty Salon Week for February 22 28 1953. Ruth Touchstone named chairman with committees for welfare finance publicity styles and recruitment. Albert Ringo named public relations chairman and Millie Buttita moderated the Q and A. Regular meetings move to the first Tuesday each month.
