A 19 year old Herman Riley of Waxahachie Texas confessed to murdering his mother and father and attempting to kill his brother to harvest the farm's produce. He described waiting for his father to sleep and shooting him, then killing his mother and injuring his brother. Bloodstained clothing found in a seed bin led to the confession.

Death by own action pact linked to Boston pair deaths
