The House approved a panel of impeachment charges against Federal Judge George W. Ish of Illinois by a 167 to 15 vote. The proceedings cited alleged bench pro ty, irregular handling of bankruptcy cases, and misdemeanors, though the judge resigned before Senate trial.
Registration closes at 5 p.m. daily with 588 people already signed up to vote on a $600 000 improvement bond. About half of those lifted to vote have registered so far, prompting call to register early to avoid congestion at city hall before the January 18 election.
Canadians traveling to Detroit under an Ontario Windsor route are accused by the Detroit Federation of Labor of commuting to work there for American citizens. A young brunette around 17 robbed Farmers National Bank in Buda Texas before noon. She forced cashier S A Jamieson to open the vault and fled in a small coupe toward Austin. About $1,000 plus two bundles of roughly $1,200 each were initially unrecovered. Officers traced her route from Buda toward Austin.
In New Orleans on December 11, two masked men robbed the Crescent Warehouse payroll of 1814 dollars from William J. Falcon the firm’s bookkeeper and cashier. They pursued a satchel and fled in a car after halting a streetcar nearby.

The actual condition of clearing house banks and trust companies shows an excess reserve of 13,658,480 for the week. This marks a rise of 59,650 from the prior week which had a deficit of 45,001,170.
Alabama legislator and circuit court clerk Mark L. Jetter remained under technical arrest at home today as coroner J. D. Russum continued the inquiry into the death of Mrs. R. E. Derile. The car Jetter drove was struck by a train while en route to his home. Derile, a courthouse clerk and Jetter's friend, died in the crash.
