He was transferred to Shreveport and then to Caddo jail. Also named are J M Creech burglarizing Parnell Co store Vaden Phillips suspected of attempted criminal assault on a seven year old near Swartz and Philander Jackson arrested for stealing auto accessories from Monroe Hardware Company while employed.
In city court this morning Judge Seruize disposed cases including John Stroud for trespassing fined 7.50, G B Case 12, and Wm Corbin 7.50. F J Gress 10 for drunken disorderly conduct. Wm White 3 for drunk and down, A F Donley 38, T J Swanor discharged. Emanuel Thomas 15 days for common cheat and swindler. Rutledge 12.50 for dangerous suspicious conduct. Gifford Harrel 100 city and 100 state for concealed weapons brass knuckles. Fred Doford 30 days for theft of whiskey from Rabun & Co.
