Mahoney Dies at 36 Former North Delta Leader
Jim L. Mahoney executive director of North Delta Economic Development District in Monroe died early today in Ochsner's Foundation Clinic New Orleans after several days illness. Funeral Friday at Lakeshore Baptist Church Monroe with Masonic graveside rites. He was a former Northeast Louisiana University professor and coach with numerous honors and affiliations. He is survived by wife Frances Daniel Mahoney two sons two daughters and several relatives.
