Custody remains with Mrs Harry Payne Whitney for weekdays and limited summer periods. The new agreement extends Mrs Vanderbilt custody from the close of the June term to sundown August 15 each year for 1937 and 1938.
East Lansing, Mich. dec 9. Judge appoints sanity commission for Hope Morgan 25 charged with first degree murder in the impulse to kill slaying of Elizabeth Giltner 25 bride elect and Michigan State College dean's daughter. Morgan stood mute at arraignment after firing five shots at Giltner in the Giltner home as wedding invitations were being addressed.
In France on December 9 Mrs Wallis Simpson’s spokesman said she has signed no documents after a long meeting with King Edward VIII and solicitor Theodore Goddard. Lord Brownlow stated the visit was about Mrs Simpson’s business affairs in London and Dr Douglas Kirkwood accompanied Goddard due to medical advice. Kirkwood left Marseille this morning and did not visit the villa Lou Vier.

Adam Parillo 40, released from a Canadian life sentence last August for a Montreal bank robbery, was found dying of multiple gunshot wounds on the steps of Saratoga Hospital.
