News notes that Mackay died November 12 leaving a will that forgave Ellin Mackay. The estate valued around over $106 million with mining interests and other assets. Bertie and others receive portions while the exact estate total was not published.
A 1000 men blind tasting declares Old Quaker three year old whiskey rich in flavor mild and smooth. Advertises it as a holiday bargain at the bottom price and urges readers to stock up for celebrations.

Moss presided in President Hugh Wallace's absence.
In Charlestown West Virginia on December 8 a foxhound dispute ended with the dog awarded to Earl Shafer after he testified the hound disappeared in 1935 and had a scar from its injury. Charles Meadow claimed ownership and had bought the dog.
Mrs Laura L Hill of 2300 Willow Street Austin Texas says Gly Cas relieved her long lasting muscular aches and pains and marks a turning point in her family’s health after years of poor wellbeing. Her statement credits Gly Cas with not disappointing her and her family.
Mrs Hill credits Gly-Cas with restoring her health after years of bladder issues and weakness. She says it cleansed poisons from her system, improved digestion, sleep, and strength, letting her walk three hours in town for the first time in six years. Phoenix Drug Co sells Gly-Cas at 348 DeSiard Street and nearby druggists.
A farm security meeting outlined to cover demonstrations and talks by agency agents and specialists. Topics include care of livestock, farm records, better practices, sweet potato culture, and the general Farm Security Administration program objectives in Ouachita Parish.

Miss Helen Peters, 73, of Chandler Kentucky, was struck by a car carrying Governor Aubrey Chandler in Indianapolis. She suffered a broken collarbone both legs and head injuries and was taken to Methodist Hospital in serious condition. The governor, attending a banquet for friend A N McMillin and Indiana University football, was uninjured.
