Judge approves settlement in LL&T lawsuits
U S District Judge Edward J Boyle Sr approves a 322 500 settlement resolving three suits against bankrupt Louisiana Loan and Thrift Corp LL T and its officers. Trustee Albert Reynolds says a fourth distribution of about 266 000 on January 15 will raise investor recoveries to about 79 percent with further distributions possible.
