Three year old boy saves cousin from bayou drowning

Bill Gates a 30 year old Point man was found dead beside his wrecked car on Louisiana 15 near his home about 4 am. Deputy coroner J F Booth said Gates died about 1 am when he apparently lost control on a curve and was thrown 25 feet in front of the vehicle. Death attributed to a broken neck. A passing motorist found the car and body and notified state police. Gates was married and funeral arrangements will be announced by Hall Funeral Home of Monroe.
