Miss Georgia Cummins, a 26 year old house to house saleswoman from Chicago, was shot in a Gary taxi by Alex Habeeb. Habeeb then forced the cab to the Grand Calumet river where Cummins body was dumped. Police killed habeeb after a struggle with detective sergeant T W Curley’s squad.
