The House judiciary committee informally considers Keller’s detailed charges seeking Attorney General Daugherty’s impeachment. Senate Republicans plot end to anti lynching delay as Democrats press for quorum and journal readings amid bitter partisan clash.
Representative Keller of Minnesota submits fourteen specific grounds for impeaching Attorney General Daugherty. The House judiciary committee will review the charges next Monday. He cites failure to enforce anti trust laws and alleges appointment of corrupt officials and improper influence in Morse pardon cases.
Arrangements for the funeral of the late James R. Mann of Illinois who died Thursday at his Washington home were being made today. Services will be held here Monday afternoon. The body was expected to arrive from Washington tomorrow, accompanied by Mrs. Mann.
New Orleans, Dec. 2. A three judge federal court heard the case on telephone rates. The issue is whether New Orleans must pay high rates or receive lower rates with rebates. The telephone company sought dissolution of the new lower rate order. The public service commission, through Huey Long, demanded the petition be granted.

Chicago dispatch reports John P. Tiernan, former Notre Dame law professor, was not yet committed to Cook County Psychopathic Hospital on a writ issued by County Judge Righeimer. His wife Augusta and their three children were missing after Mrs Pulaski claimed Tiernan was morally unbalanced. He contacted his wife from her sister’s home, prompting pursuit by authorities.
