J J Brevelle a 45 year old transfer driver from DeRidder La was found murdered in an old mill pond at Pickering Vernon parish. His skull was crushed and the body mangled with gunshot wounds suspected and robbery considered a motive. Brevelle was last seen Saturday evening returning from Farwell in his car with passengers. searchers learned he traveled alone toward DeRidder around six o clock.
