The home of Mr and Mrs 8 D Rogers at 2009 Lee Avenue hosted the wedding of Connie Erick of Enid Ohio to Glen B Powell of this city on Saturday August 26. The ceremony featured pink Radiance roses smilax and pink tulle with Rev R M Bentley presiding. Linda Erick was maid of honor Tyson Ingalls best man. Connie wore blue Princess satin and carried roses and lilies. Guests included out of town relatives from Enid Oklahoma and Baskin Louisiana. Powell and Connie plan to reside in the city.

A barbecue and picnic were held at the Berkstein place Monday night for members of five Young Women’s Christian association clubs.
