West Monroe Man Dies After Sleeping Attack
Eddie Hamilton, about 30, Black, died at St Francis sanitarium after being stabbed in the chest with a pair of scissors while sleeping at his home on the west side early August 21. Arline Hilton, Black woman, was arrested and held, charged with entering Hamilton’s house and stabbing him. Deputy Clyde Mitchell jailed Hilton after an alarm. The victim’s death followed a worsening condition, and a life insurance policy favored the accused.
