William John Sutcliff of 222 South Riverfront died late last night after a several week illness. Born July 29 1865 in Meadville Mississippi of English ancestry he married Minnie Cur in West Monroe at age 24. A longtime business man he spent 32 years with the North Louisiana Shingle mill and was a member of the First Methodist church.
