Delhi residents share visits and guests across Gilbert, Minden, Vicksburg, Monroe, Ruston, Shreveport and other towns. Attendees include Miss Beth Sentell, Miss Patsy Ruth McEacharn, Mr. and Mrs. L. T. O Neal, and many others at gatherings, dinners, and a YW A meeting, plus a chicken barbecue honoring Mrs. Jules Sanderson.
Word of a new assignment for a veterinary official arrived Saturday through his sister Mrs Willis Hu Anders. HL Baur of Balance Veterinary Association and spouse traveled to Oklahoma City for the national convention of the American Veterinary Medical Association. Dr F P Rizzo returned from a two week mountain vacation in Alabama and attended Fort McClellan encampment. Gordon Avenue Methodist Church to inaugurate revival at 11 am with nightly song service led by G W McCullin. Major Memorial Bible class held a water melon supper at Northeast Center Louisiana State University with Andoor softball as part of the entertainment.
Lillian Vallery ten is reported improved at St Francis sanitarium after a traffic crash at Natchitoches and North Fourth streets. She suffered a skull fracture and shoulder injury while riding with her father on an ice truck. Her brother Dick, age three, had cuts but was not seriously hurt when the truck collided with a roadster driven by Ervin Getchell.
Mr and Mrs J B Carter announce the birth of a daughter Barbara Dianne Carter who arrived Friday night at the Vaughan Wright Bendel clinic.
George Faison of 114 Adams Street reported to police yesterday that his bike was stolen from 200 Desiard Street.
NEA Service recalls Will Rogers as America's top air passenger and booster. He backed air travel in writing and shows, flew thousands of miles on regular routes, and promoted airport development. His death stemmed from violating his own cautious creed about risky casual flights. He admired Lindbergh and Wiley Post, campaigned for town identification from the air, and remained a fearless advocate despite criticism.
Inez Ketcham died Thursday in Wyatt Louisiana after a short illness. She leaves her mother and father Mr and Mrs Carl Ketcham and several brothers and sisters. The father is in a sanitarium in Shreveport.
Mrs Victor Anderson aged 29 died Monday after a lengthy illness. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at Spring Hill Church in the Walker community by Rev Brown of the Primitive Baptist Church in Homer. Interment followed in Springhill Cemetery.
Mr. C. H. Goodwin of 3520 Lee Avenue Monroe declares Gly-Cas the greatest medicine of all. He says it helps him eat and sleep after years of pain and weakness and praises the Gly-Cas Man who meets crowds daily.

About 75 women are expected to attend a three day encampment of parish home demonstration club members at Camp Ki-Ro-Li on Tuesday through Thursday. Nonmembers may join by registering with Mrs Jewel McQuiller. Visitors will be welcomed and those at noon should call 3884-XJ before 10 30 a m to reserve meals.
