Local Gardeners Attend State Meet in Baton Rouge
Mrs. Kent Breard president of the Monroe Garden Club and Miss Emma Louise Biedenharn state scholarship chair of the Louisiana Federation of Garden Clubs returned from the recent state board meeting in Baton Rouge. About seventy five representatives from garden clubs across the state discussed plans for the year and civic beautification by garden clubs. An exhibit of flower arrangements by local club members was viewed. Miss Biedenharn was named to the nominating committee.
