The large liquor firm J. Y. Covington & Company moves from a landmark building to a bigger quarters at Grand and Jefferson Streets Monroe. The firm established sixteen years ago by J. Y. Covington and Byron Ensel runs a major south mail order business with 36 000 square feet of space and an electric elevator. The firm ships whisky wine beer and other liquors with prompt service and three express offices. The formal opening will be announced once stock is organized and painters finish work.
