Rain did not deter Monroe and West Monroe residents from a Luna Ward 9 barbecue and basket dinner. A special train carried about seventy five attendees to the Luna School House where candidates spoke for ten minutes each, led by Dr. T L Hood and followed by Myatt Schulze DeGraffereid Parker Green de Haas Faulk and Odom among others.
Enthusiastic crowd welcomes Hon. John T. Michel with widespread support from leading business and professional figures in Mansfield Louisiana. Michel visits Grand Cane and Gloster, garners cross-party affection, and boosts prospects in the parish where Sanders previously led.
