Hall faced harsh charges from Dr J B Aswell claiming Hall sought Governor Sanders and Henry Bernstein aid to elect him. Hall admitted soliciting support and spoke at a large barbecue rally with many Aswell and Michel supporters present.
An Alabama organized group led by P. C. Wadsworth plans to stabilize cotton prices using a capital structure of 1,000,000 dollars and 3,000,000 participating certificates. Fort Worth Texas August 11 The Cattle Raisers Association of Texas seeks a new battle with the Meat Trust after last year’s victory over railroads and the saving of over a million dollars annually. President Ed C Lasater of Falfaurias argues against arbitrary price fixing and calls for supply and demand to set cattle prices.
