Card Party At McHenry Home Honors Bride To Be
The Neil McHenry residence hosted a card party on the Columbia road in honor of Miss Sarah Ellen Gunby and Miss Phyllis Kinsey. High scorer Cornelia McHenry received stationery. guests included many locals who enjoyed rummy on glass tables and a veranda display of butterfly lilies. Refreshments followed with chicken salad and chocolate squares. A separate note: a surprise birthday party for Miss Marsue McKinney and Mr. Rogers Taylor of Swartz occurred at Miss Frances Cooper’s home with lawn games and refreshments.
