The funeral train bearing President Harding's body arrived in Marion at 12 38 p m after a lengthy wait. Bells tolled across the city as dignitaries and mourners gathered on the platform and prepared to escort the coffin to its resting place among locals who cherished him.
The nation honors Warren G Harding with full funeral rites as his body returns to Marion Ohio. President Coolidge and other leaders join in the sorrow while Mrs Harding remains steadfast by her husband’s coffin and plans to return to Washington and then Marion to resume her duties among home folks.

President Coolidge plans to introduce farm hours at the White House after spending time on a Vermont farm. He rose early despite funeral ceremonies and walked to Thomas Circle with only Secret Service, then returned before breakfast.
Local American Legion post announces tomorrow's funeral services for President Harding will be a military civic ceremony on Monroe City school grounds from 3 to 4 p m including a 156th Infantry band march from the armory to the grounds with a rifle salute by a firing squad and a city bell toll. Business houses will close for the hour per Mayor Bernstein’s proclamation and all citizens are urged to attend.

Federal agents led by C. C. Thompson raided moonshine districts east of El Dorado field in Union county Arkansas, arresting fifteen men as they posed as oil field workers. One roadhouse named Nell's Place between El Dorado and Smackover was also raided.
Reports from New Orleans indicate shifting political alignments. John P. Sullivan of the New Regulars may back Dudley L. Guilbeau or Henry L. Fuqua for governor. Henry Desmare endorses Hewitt Bouanchand for governor amid other rumored pacts.
New York publishers voted to suspend all evening editions tomorrow as a tribute to the late president Warren G. Harding. The absent papers include the Evening Post, Evening World, Sun and Globe, Evening Telegram, Mail, Journal and Brooklyn Eagle. The services are to be held in Marion Ohio tomorrow afternoon.
Henry E. Hardtner leads the Lone Star Route Association and the Leester delegation in Monroe to seek support. He outlines a nearly complete highway from Chicago to the Gulf, noting 535 miles of concrete pavement from Chicago to St. Louis and extensive hard surfacing toward Fredericton and beyond through the Ozarks. The Arkansas segment, about eight miles short, remains unfinished as the project continues.
