Monroe Lions Club celebrates 30th anniversary on hotel roof
About 300 members and guests attended the Monroe Lions Club anniversary banquet at the Frances hotel roof. Roderick Beddow former Lions leader urged continued devotion to democracy and American values while Miss Karleen Bilbeau spoke on democracy. The club traces to 1921 with 132 members today.
