Alibia Bacon of Heflin Louisiana a Webster parish former state representative and impeach conferee died at his home near Heflin on Thursday. Funeral services will be held at 9 am Saturday at the local Methodist church with three pastors officiating. Interment will be in Fellowship cemetery. Survived by widow a son J M Bacon Baldwin City six daughters and a stepson with ties to Monore DeQuincy Oberlin Crowley Heflin and other nearby communities. Bacon supported impeachment in 1929 later voting against moves to dismiss it. Born and raised near Heflin he lived his life in the same area.
