Accident Victim Improves After Hit by Car in Monroe
Charles Miller a 42 year old Monroe man injured Saturday night on the 900 block of South Second street was reported improved at St Francis Sanitarium. Police say Miller was struck after checking his A model Ford truck which had no lights on. Driver Bernie McKiry of 2405 Adams street said the crash was unavoidable. Miller suffered a badly lacerated left hip and facial cuts and bruises.
