Capitol showcases Norma Shearer in Riptide, a gilded heroine torn between love and freedom, with a strong cast led by Robert Montgomery and Herbert Marshall.
Eight-year-old Roy J. Bertrand earned hero status after rescuing three-year-old Betty Jane Reddll from six feet of water at a Lake Arthur beach. He dived from the boardwalk and swam Betty Jane to shore, saving her life.
