Two Hitchhike From Crash That Killed 4
Bastrop special report. Parish Sheriff E L Hinton said two persons took rides from the scene of a flaming two car crash near Bonita Sunday that killed four members of a Houston family touring to Greenville Mississippi. Driver N L Thompson of Wilmot Arkansas and a woman companion were arrested later at Hamburg Arkansas. Thompson allegedly drove one car and aides said both vehicles burned after a gas tank exploded. Four counts of negligent homicide hit and run and leaving the scene of an accident likely to be filed in Bastrop.
