In Tensas Parish Louisiana authorities seized the largest marijuana haul on record in the area. A twin engine Lockheed aircraft landed at St Joseph airport and a U-Haul truck waited to pickup about 1.5 tons of marijuana believed from Mexico. One man Billy Hosea 39 of Conroe Texas was arrested for possession with intent to distribute and a second man was arrested later. The operation involved the Tensas Parish Sheriff's Department Louisiana State Police and the Ouachita Morehouse Strike Force. The area was sealed and more arrests expected as the investigation continued.
