Prison Sunday observed in 1200 institutions nationwide
The Salvation Army marks its 31st Prison Sunday with services in more than 1,200 penal institutions across the United States. About 200,000 inmates in federal and state prisons, jails, farms, reformatories, training schools, and related facilities will participate in the annual event highlighting the army's program for the conversion of men.
