Mrs. E L Neville Dies Civic Leader in Monroe
Mrs Ernest L Neville widow of the former Monroe City Superintendent of Schools died after a short illness. Funeral services are set for 9 30 a m Saturday at Mulhearn Funeral Home Monroe with Dr Carl F Lucy and Rev W Bradley Trimble officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery. She was a Columbia native and a former Allie Davis. She taught in Monroe city schools for years and was Grandmother of the Year in 1962 by the Neville High School Alumni Association. She is survived by a daughter, two grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Pallbearers include local civic and school figures.
