Monroe School System faces drastic overstaffing cuts
Supt. Sidney Seegers said the Monroe City School System will cut non professional staff after the State Board of Education found overstaffing in two areas. The district will lose 45836 in next year’s state allotment and 260000 from the general fund if overstaffing isn’t reduced.
