April events spark a busy early summer in Monroe with Mrs. Estelle Sanders hosting a recital on April 24 featuring war-time guest vocalists Lt. William McCluskey Lt. Paul Mussleman Capt. Emerson Armstrong and Cpl. E M Wooten. The Little Theater ends its season with Over Twenty One directed by Mrs. Serwich and Dan Armand Breard returns in the cast. Lt. Gene Ritter has earned navigator wings and returns to Hondo Army Air Field after two weeks leave.
