Kansas City April 19 Dr G Twyman key prosecution witness in the Dr B C Hyde murder case dies at a local hospital from acute diverticulitis. Twyman long served as Swope family physician and confidant. His death cripples the states effort to prove Hyde bled James Moss Hunter and to address the alleged poisoning of Margaret Swope.
Work on the new city hall is underway with 40 workers, 14 bricklayers, and abundant materials arriving as needed. Superintendent H. E. Markwood expects walls to be finished in about thirty working days. The project uses brick interior walls and extensive steel, with Southern Building Company as contractor and Samuel K.
