At Nugent near Pollock Louisiana Friday night a man and an older woman suspected as Walter Peck and his mother shot Mrs. Moody in her bed. A six month old infant and a six year old witnessed the tragedy as Moody and brother summoned help. Mrs Moody also had a throat knife wound. authorities expect arrests.
A central Illinois train wreck today left four people dead in a grim crash. Authorities investigated the scene and identified the victims amid ongoing efforts to determine the cause.
