Morehouse cases to be charged by district attorney
District Attorney David I. Garrett announced that thirty bills of information will be filed in the Morehouse open hearing cases at Bastrop. Arrests are planned for about eighteen defendants, with warrants issued by the Clerk of Court and arrests to follow in Bastrop and nearby parishes. Garrett, returning from a New Orleans conference, said cases will be handled without bias and within jurisdiction.
