Cleven Jerseys Sell For Four Thousand Four Hundred
One of the largest Jersey cattle sales in the region was completed Monday when BE. B. Eby and T. St. Moore sold to L. K. Williams of Patterson Louisiana a herd of registered Jerseys for 4400 dollars or 400 each. Williams, visiting Houma to inspect cattle, was persuaded to review the herd with Prof. O. H. Stoper of the State University. The cattle, compared with previous stock, prove the local grade matches the best elsewhere. Many animals came from Eby, who specializes in the breed.
