Speegle Named Revival Leader For Ouachita Parish Event
Rev. E. J. Speegle of the First Baptist Church Sterlington is named director of a simultaneous youth led revival for Ouachita Parish Baptists. The 28 church association launches the event April 24 to 30 with youth evangelists, music directors, musicians, and workers from Baylor Louisiana College Mississippi College New Orleans Seminary and Southwestern Seminary assisting local youths.

New Baton Rouge Lab to be Inspected by State Board
A diagnostic laboratory in Baton Rouge will be inspected by the state live stock sanitary board on April 21 in conjunction with a board meeting. Quitman Store Burglarized In Louisiana
In Hodge Louisiana on a Wednesday night Sam Thomas’s Quitman store was burglarized with about 200 dollars in merchandise and money taken. The safe held books and records and was left intact. Cigarettes and pocket knives were taken in large quantities and scattered papers suggest thieves sought cash. This marks the second break in at the store.

Bids opened for a Charity Hospital shelter and concession stand showed C. D. Nolan of Start submitting the lowest bid at 16 000 dollars. Competitors were W. G.
