Destruction Wrought by Eyelone Strikes Eros Under Storm

Reports from Monroe indicate a cyclone hit Eros around 7 20 pm Thursday causing extensive damage. Businesses including F E C Finley J J Grants Store and Tremont Lumber Company suffered wreckage while residents aided by remaining shops. One or two injured persons feared to die and several miraculous escapes followed the wind’s collapse and unusual shifts of houses and beds carried by gusts.
