New Orleans April 10 Congress on Riley J Wilson arrived from Washington and will today speak for Col Pleasant and the Democratic nominees at several towns. In Bunkie a man was shot during an incident involving Parker actors and Lee Lanier, editor of the Bunkie Record, with Lanier claiming self defense after a crowd confronted him at a bank. Wounded man W. F. Jack of Bunkie was taken to Alexandria for treatment. Lanier was arrested and later released on bond.
