Heavy battles rage in two Lebanon border areas
The fighting pits Israeli backed rightists against Syrian-backed Palestinian leftists in Lebanon near Taybe and Marjayoun. Overnight casualties were reported with at least 15 killed on the two fronts and additional deaths and injuries from shell and machine gun fire. Plaquemine Begins Utility Cutoffs Over Delinquent Bills
