Mayor Apgar announced that City Council members have agreed on appointing Dr Robert W Faulk as city health officer to replace Dr William Schulze who resigned to join the Baltimore and Ohio railroad as a medical inspector. Formal action expected at the next council meeting. Schulze also resigns as Ouachita Parish Medical Society president with successor unnamed.
