Four Louisianans Die In Wrecks
Four people died in Louisiana traffic crashes as the weekend began. Airman 2 Cae Hooper of Miami and Roy Tyler, 26, of Princeton perished when their car hit a tree near Cross Lake west of Shreveport. Pfc Jimmy DeLong, 25, of Arkadelphia died in a one car crash south of Leesville. Jimmy Palmer, 33, of Westwego was killed on the West Bank expressway at Marrero. J W McKee, 21, of Westwego, the other driver, was charged with reckless driving.
