The Tallulah PTA hosts a Halloween carnival at Tallulah Elementary on Monday October 31 at 6 30 p m. A four category costume contest offers prizes for funniest scariest prettiest and most original. In Winnfield Louisiana an alleged revised will of the late Gov Earl Long has not been found in a court ordered search. The searching official asked to be relieved from duty. Two sisters and a great nephew sue claiming Long revised his will in the last year of life after estrangement from his wife. The widow had filed a five year old will leaving the estate to her. The plaintiffs are Mrs Olive Cooper and Mrs Clara Knott and John Ducourneau all from Natchitoches and Many respectively.
