Falling Trees Fatal For Two In Yosemite Park
Two people died and a third was injured when trees toppled in strong winds at Yosemite Valley. Kenneth C Miner, 19, of Fresno California, and Margaret Gnall, 40, of Roselle Park New Jersey, were killed while sleeping around 6 am as gusts felled trees. Park rangers declared an emergency and warned visitors outings could be dangerous as winds continued.
