Mother slashes sons to death in Kalamazoo home
Kalama zoa October 8 A hysterical 27 year old mother Mrs Robinette Freeman slashed her two sons to death with a razor sharp knife in their new Kalamazoo bungalow. The nine month old Larry lay dead in a bathtub while six year old John Carroll was found in a adjoining room. Freeman’s husband William 28 at work overnight wrested the knife away and found his wife in the bathroom. The coroner said the children likely died at midnight and Mrs Freeman was taken to the state hospital for observation after questioning by sheriff's officers. The family had recently moved from her parents home following their marriage in 1941.
