Tarbutton Appointed to Northeast Junior College Faculty
J. S. Tarbutton of Ruston was named last week as instructor in civil engineering mathematics and mechanical drawing at Northeast Junior College. He succeeds Victor L. Martin who left for Arkansas Tech Russellville for promotion. Tarbutton is a Louisiana Polytechnic Institute graduate and former college engineer who managed electrical equipment and studios on campus and acted as superintendent of buildings. He previously ran an electrical business in Ruston specializing in radio and refrigeration. Dean Rodney Cline praised Tarbutton’s arrival at the college.
