Christmas savings fund disbursements exceed prior years
The Central Savings Bank and Trust Company and Ouachita National Bank closed their annual Christmas savings funds this Saturday. Central Savings Bank plans to mail out over 100000 dollars with a reported 100 347 39 in the fund this year. Ouachita Bank also expects a larger total than in past years. Both banks reopen the Christmas savings fund for 1941-42 on Monday.
