United Nations approves anti Russian Hungary resolution
The General Assembly branded Russia's actions in Hungary an intolerable attempt to enslave the Hungarian people and a violation of the U N Charter. The five power measure expressed concern over the Soviet withdrawal refusal from Hungary and described the intervention as violent repression. Sponsors were Cuba Ireland Italy Pakistan and Peru. The 76 nation body approved the paragraph by paragraph vote with 48 11 and 16 abstentions.

Dairyman Finds $25,000 Scattered Along Creek Bank
