Injured Farmer Crawls Home Through Snow
James Coots trapped under a tractor on a southern Indiana tobacco farm crawled through deep snow for nearly five hours to reach his Madison home. He crawled about a half mile with a crushed knee, blacked out several times, then summoned help and was taken to a Madison hospital and later a Louisville hospital for treatment. His wife described a long, slow recovery ahead.
